Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an attempt by an adult to lure a child into a motor vehicle on Thursday night.

The alleged incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. when an unknown male subject operating a light gray or silver colored four-door passenger car attempted to lure the youth into the vehicle on Main Street near the intersection of Elm Street in Tidioute Borough. The male was described as white, approximately 30 to 40 years of age, 5-foot-2, hefty build, brown hair and full brown beard. He was described as wearing a red and black hat, black t-shirt and dark denim jeans.
