Larry L. Gardner, age 74, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 16 in Lutz, Fl. Larry was born April 27, 1943, the eldest son of C. Russell “Russ” and Valerie Zerbe Gardner.
He was raised in Stoneham and lived most of his adult life in the Warren area. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Warren where he became an avid member of the Kinzua Dive Team and had a long career with OsramSylvania. Upon retirement Larry moved to Florida where he greatly enjoyed the outdoors, swapping stories with his friends and buzzing around his community on his golf cart.
Larry was preceded in death by both of his parents, as well as two brothers; Timothy Charles Gardner of Harrisburg, Pa., and Craig Harrison Gardner of Chandler’s Valley, Pa.
He is survived by 2 children, Kimberly GardnerTaylor and husband Jody. Nolan Gardner and wife Kelly Probst Gardner. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren, Benjamin Gardner and Gabrielle LoSchiavo.
Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery on Monday, October 23rd. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
