Pamela Rose
Pamela Elizabeth Rose, 72, of 425 Greeves Street, passed away Sunday morning (September 10, 2017) at her home after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 12, 1944, in Salamanca, NY, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Jane Britton O’Stricker. On August 14, 1965, in Kane, she married Bruce A. Rose who survives.
Six months of the year Pam and Bruce enjoyed being “snowbirds” in Florida with their daughter Kim.
In her free time, she enjoyed painting, collecting frogs and birdhouses and most important spending time with her family. Pam opened her home and heart to all who came to her door.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Scott (Jenny) Rose of Clarendon and Bob (Kristen) Rose of Kane; a daughter, Kim (Chris) Lindsay of Haines City, Florida; two grandsons, Tyler (fiance Sabrena) Rose, Cody Rose; four granddaughters, Shalyn (companion David) Rose, Chyann Rose, Jillian Rose and Melissa Lindsay; a brother, Tom (Debi) O’Stricker of Humphrey, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved Yorkie Terrier, Nick.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Marlene Rose.
In honoring Pam’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately.
