Robert was a self employed logger for several years, then in 1983 moved to Fayetteville, NC to work as a truck mechanic for twenty two years, returning to Warren in 2006 to retire. Robert enjoyed visiting his friends over coffee at the Peppermill. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his lawn mowers.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. (Dean) Eaton, whom he married on May 12, 1989; five children, Richard Eaton, and wife, Lori, Warren, PA, and John Eaton, also of Warren, PA, Veronica Peate, and husband, Robert, Youngsville, PA, Randall Frederick, and wife, Dee, Scandia, PA and Christine Lyon, and husband, Donald, Youngsville, PA; three brothers, Thomas Eaton, and wife, Diane, Clarendon, PA, James Eaton, and wife, Sharon, Warren, PA and William Eaton, Fayetteville, NC. He also has eight grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two infant children, David Eaton, Deborah Eaton, Jeffrey Eaton at age 2, Robert Eaton at age 22; and one sister, Mary Hawk.

Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Monday, April 27 from 3 to 4 p.m., at which time, a funeral service will be held there, with Rev. Rich Pearson, pastor, Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell, PA.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Russell Volunteer Fire Department, 66 Perrigo Lane, Russell, PA 16345.
