A Divine Liturgy for Michael T. Bross, 71, who died March 21, was held Monday, March 24, in St. Michaels’ Byzantine Catholic Church. Rev. Father Roy Schubert, pastor, officiated. The BordenLloyd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Michael T. Bross, 71, unexpectedly passed into the next life, Friday, March 21, 2014 in Little River, SC. He was born October 15, 1942 in Sheffield to the late Michael and Avanelle Albaugh Bross.
A lifelong area resident, Mike, was a former member of the Community Care Foundation, VFW and during the Viet Nam era, served in the U.S. Air Force. He belongs to the National Precast Organization and the Eagles Aerie in Warren. As a member of St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church he was an alter server. Michael was an avid golfer, traveler and reader.
He is survived by his wife Sandra “Sandy” Shaw Bross whom he married October 22, 1966 in St. Michael’s Church, Sheffield; a daughter, Dr. Angela J. Bross, Hampton, VA; a son, Michael P. Bross and wife Dr. Kimberly EddyBross, Hercules, CA; a sister, Janyce Barr, Sheffield; a brother, John R. “Ron” Bross and wife Dixie, Sheffield; and several nieces and nephews.
A Divine Liturgy will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 in St. Michael’s Byzantine Catholic Church at 12:00 noon with Reverend Father Roy Schubert, pastor, officiating. Friends will be received from 9:3011:00am Monday, March 24, 2014 at the BordenLloyd Funeral Home. Parastas will be held at 11:00am in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ruth M. Smith Center or Sheffield Senior Center.
