HULDA “LAMMIE” LEONARD

Hulda “Lammie” Leonard, 68, of Stoneham, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013, surrounded by her family. Lammie was born July 29, 1945, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth “Libby” Ferry Leonard.

Lammie was a 1963 graduate of Warren High School. Immediately upon graduation, she worked at Sylvania until retiring from quality control after 37 years of service. She was an avid softball player, bowler and golfer. She enjoyed watching her Pittsburgh Pirates, playing cards with her family and occasional trips to the casino. She devoted herself to her family her entire life. Nothing was more important to her than her kids her nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own children.

Lammie is survived by one sister, Joyce Mucha, and husband, Ray “Bud”, Fairview, PA; two brothers, Emery “Butch” Leonard, and wife, Sylvia, Warren, PA and Bill Leonard, and wife, Kathie, Stoneham, PA.

She leaves to cherish her memory “her kids”-nine nieces and nephews, Kimberley Keller Green, and husband, Craig, Erie, PA, Troy Wagner, and wife, Anne, Warren, PA, Kristopher Keller, Nashville, TN, Beth Leonard McCullough, and husband, Gale, Warren, PA, Jeffrey Leonard, Warren, PA, Missy Wagner Pollock, and husband, George, Erie, PA, Julie Ann Mucha Gloskey, Girard, PA, Heidi Mucha, Girard, PA, and Raymond “Buddy” Mucha, and wife, Robin, St. Petersburg, FL; along with several greatnieces and nephews and greatgreat nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her greatnephew, Craigie Green on August 25, 1991.

Friends will be received at the Peterson Blick Funeral Home, Inc, 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held there on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Marcus Briggs, pastor and chaplain, Rouse Warren County Home and Warren General Hospital, officiating. Burial will follow at Warren County Memorial Park.
