The Tidioute Public Library will be having a Dinosaur Stuffies program for kids on July 27 and July 29. Kids can choose between three different dinosaurs while supplies last. 31 animals seized in Youngsville neglect case

Two Youngsville residents have been charged after 31 animals were seized from their home in late June. Christine M. Vanguilder, 45, and Jason Farnham, 42, both of Youngsville, were charged Wednesday with seven third-degree felony charges related to the late June seizure: one count of each of aggravated cruelty to animals - torture and six counts each of aggravated cruelty to animals - causing serious bodily injury or death. The investigation into a shooting near UPMC Chautauqua on Wednesday afternoon revealed two people each died as the result of apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Jamestown police issued an update around 1 p.m. Thursday. Officers responded to the hospital at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday for a report of two unresponsive individuals in a vehicle in the parking lot of the emergency department. Upon arrival, it was determined that the two victims were deceased.
