Warren Gives likely surpassed goal
It appears likely that the 2026 Warren Gives drive raised more money than it did in 2025. How much more will be known in June.
More than 100 nonprofit organizations across Warren County were helped by the community during the 14th annual Warren Gives event last Wednesday. Support was raised through community celebrations, business partnerships and online donations. This year, Warren Gives was yet another record-breaking success thanks to the generosity of Warren County’s people, as well as people from 44 states.
Donor reports and final numbers will be configured and given to each organization during the check ceremony in June.
“This is another record year, and really a huge year from Warren Gives,” said Mark King, Community Foundation of Warren County executive director.
King said that the million dollar mark was broken in donations alone, compared to last year when the drive crossed the million dollar mark with the match pool money. Check donations increased this year by $110,000. Donors who pay by check are a huge contributor in that, by giving via check, processing fees are avoided. The foundation pays for all credit card processing fees.
On the day of the event, with only four hours left, last year’s donation total was surpassed.
“It was a very strong day, starting with that check number but the momentum held up all day long,” said King.
Donations came in from 44 states, a great representation of Warren County and the people who are maintaining connections here from across the country.
“I wouldn’t doubt that we’re probably about $100,000 of our total will be from outside of Pennsylvania,” King commented.
There was an increase in the number of unique donors as well as those who tend to give-they also increased their donation amounts.
“When times are tough, we’ve seen it again and again, where Warren County people step up. They realize the need is there and greater than ever, and they show that in their donations,” said King.
Warrengives.org shows the 2026 progress updates through the link at the bottom of their homepage where donations were logged with the $1 million mark surpassed before the closing time. Updates will be refreshed as reports are processed, including Donation Totals by Recipient and Number of Donors by Recipient. As per the current reports, the Kinzua Youth Development Center holds the number one spot for donation totals while the number of donors by recipient, with the top number of 395 donors was for Paws Along the River Humane Society. Visit the website and Facebook for updates and organizations expressing their gratitude for contributions received.
“It’s incredible to think about Warren County being able to support that level of giving,” King said.
