Work to impact Pennsylvania Avenue
A section of Route 62 — Pennsylvania Avenue — in the city of Warren will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Wednesday due to railroad work.
Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad will be performing maintenance to the crossing located on Pennsylvania Avenue between Chestnut and Beech streets starting at approximately 6 a.m. and lasting throughout the day.
Traffic will be controlled by flaggers using single lane closures. Drivers should be prepared to stop when approaching the work area.
PennDOT urges drivers to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
