A School Board Candidates Forum, for Region 3 with candidates Mary Passinger and Misty Moore will be Thursday, Oct 16 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Fire hall. That evening the audience may submit questions on cards for the candidates. Questions should address a candidate’s qualifications and interest in being a director, current and future priorities, school curriculums, school board’s budget affected by federal and state funding, students’ and teachers’ safety, policies, etc.

Citizens are invited to the public forum. Region 3 includes boroughs of Bear Lake, Sugar Grove and Youngsville; and townships of Brokenstraw, Farmington, Freehold, Pine Grove Pittsfield, and Sugar Grove. The event is coordinated by the Warren League of Women Voters.
