WCHS to hold haunted house, trolley tours

The Warren County Historical Society is holding a Haunted House and Trolley Tours event later this month. Here are trolley guides John Shaughnesy and Brian Haines.

If you’re into local history and some Halloween spooks, the Warren County Historical Society has an event for you.

The Society’s Haunted House and Trolley Tours event is set for Oct. 25 and 26 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night at 210 Fourth Ave.

Here is the information for our October Haunted House and Trolley Tours event. If you have any questions, please call or email me. Thanks!

“Built in 1873, the mysterious mansion is especially creepy on misty, moonlit nights, with ghosts and ghouls roaming the halls,” WCHS Program C.J. Chase. “Test your courage against the supernatural specters lurking in the shadows. Refreshments will be available–for those brave enough to…hang around.”

Guides will also present spooky county tales on a horse-drawn trolley tour in downtown Warren.

“Advance tickets are recommended and can be purchased on site at 210 Fourth Avenue, Warren, or online at the warrenhistory.org “events” page,” Chase said. “Combo tickets (trolley tour and haunted house) are $11 in advance or $13 at the door.

Haunted house-only tours can be purchased at the door for $5 and children must be accompanied by an adult.

“Trolley rides depart every 30 minutes, so reserve your preferred time slot before it’s gone,” she said.

Starting at $3.50/week.
