Michele Streich has been making chocolate for 40 years. Earlier this year, she received an email asking if she would be interested in submitting samples to a business that partners with artisans throughout the country.
Streich sent samples of her beautifully decorated chocolate-covered Oreos to the company.
Delicious Food Delivered informed her they would like to include the Stonehill Chocolates chocolate-dipped Oreos, one decorated as the Grinch and the other with holiday sprinkles.
Delicious Food Delivered hand-picks and locally sourced delicacies in boxes specific to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Pennsylvania.
Each box contains daily doors with treats unique to the state.

Stonehill Chocolates is featured in the “Delicious Pennsylvania Advent Calendar.”
Stonehill Chocolates is one of just twenty-four artisans selected throughout Pennsylvania featured in the “Delicious Pennsylvania Advent Calendar,” which features various treats behind each door.
Streich said, “It was a privilege to be asked to submit a sample, and of course, then to be selected to be included in the box,”
Other relatively local artisans featured in the advent box are Pulakos Chocolates with milk chocolate sponge candy and Lake Erie Candy Company with sea glass hard tack candy. Both stores are located in Erie, PA.
The artisan box includes chocolates, candy, cinnamon vanilla-infused maple syrup, craft turkey jerky, honey, butterscotch peanut butter, holiday blend ground coffee, and more.
The Advent Christmas boxes are selling quickly, and a limited amount of boxes are available at https://deliciousfooddelivered.com.
If you miss out on the Pennsylvania advent box but are looking for delicious, locally-made chocolates, Stonehill Chocolates has a vast selection of candies and chocolate-covered foods for every occasion.
In addition to what she has in stock at the store, Streich also takes special event orders.
Stonehill Chocolates is currently open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 73 Market Street, next door to Subway. Its website is https://www.stonehillchocolates.com.
