Pair of Warren restaurants closing this month
Two Warren restaurants will be closing by month end, according to the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry.
Mama Jane’s Eatery and Rivers Edge of Warren will be closed by the end of this month, the organization noted on its Facebook page
Mama Jane’s Eatery at 115 Ludlow St. said it will be closing at 8 p.m. Sunday and gift cards can be redeemed at three other locations.
“The demise of two of our local restaurants is a pressing issue with far-reaching consequences,” WCCBI said in its post. “When these beloved establishments shutter their doors, it’s more than just a loss of dining options; it’s a blow to our local economy. The Warren County Chamber of Business & Industry is a powerful ally in our community’s economic growth, including job creation and retention.
“By fostering a thriving business environment, the Chamber provides support to existing businesses through invaluable resources like networking events, partnerships, workshops, the sharing of industry-specific information, and helping businesses expand and hire more employees through job fairs and direct connections.
“The closing of local businesses is a heartbreaking trend that has numerous implications. When our neighborhood shops, restaurants, and services disappear, it’s more than just a loss of convenience; it’s a blow to the heart of our community. These businesses are the backbone of our economy, providing jobs, supporting local families, and adding a vibrant character to our overall quality of life. By choosing to shop local, we’re not just making purchases; we’re investing in the future of our community and ensuring that it remains vibrant and thriving for generations to come.”
