Visitors Bureau to host photography workshop
The Warren County Visitors Bureau’s job is to showcase Warren County.
A photography workshop that the WCVB is planning aims to help others assist in that process.
The session is set for April 29 from 9 a.m. to noon with Jeremy Bickling of Stratos Media Solutions. Special focus will include how to get the best photos possible with a cell phone.
“I got the idea for this after I went to a similar workshop Jeremy did,” WCVB Executive Director Casey Ferry said. “I loved it, learned a lot, and wanted to learn more.”
She said she knew that WCVB staff would benefit but couldn’t find quite what she was looking for – that’s where this event was born.
“Not only is this helpful for us in our work of promoting the county, but local businesses could benefit as can any individual who is interested,” Ferry said. “Warren County is so beautiful; there just can’t be too many pictures out there.”
Space is limited so Ferry said people must register and pay – $20 or free to WCVB members – in advance.
“This is just one more way for us to showcase how beautiful it really is here,” she said. “Sometimes you need to do something like this to really see the beauty, especially if you are lucky enough to live here and get used to your surroundings.”
