A team of Beaty-Warren Middle School robotics students won a Judges Award at the Vex Robotics Competition Jan. 21, in DuBois. Members of Team 52575C, Junior Dragons II, are (from left) Zachary Peters, Mason Moore, Project Lead the Way Adviser Arthur Anderson, and Mateo Madril. The Judges Award is a special presentation to a team that displays some combination of special attributes, exemplary effort, perseverance; overcoming an obstacle or challenge to achieve a goal or accomplishment; communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and a student-centered ethos.
