A Sunday happening aims to keep a spotlight on the events in the Ukraine.

Sponsored by Andy Sokolski and open to the public as a fundraiser, the event is being held to support Ukrainian refugees on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Women’s Club of Warren at 310 Market St..

The Tkanka Foundation (formerly Fundacja Kocham Debniki) is a non-profit organization based in Krakow, Poland, that supports women, families and communities affected by the war in Ukraine. There is an invitation to partner in rebuilding social cohesion and hope through a flagship program with the mission of empowering women, supporting families and strengthening communities through education, integration and shared connection.

With more than 1,200 supporters from 10 countries, mainly the United States, over $1 million has been provided for assistance with the Sokolski Family Foundation as a major partner. Olga Piasecka-Nieć, Founder and President of the Management Board will be speaking at the event.
