More than 1K have received two vaccine doses

The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 21 new cases of COVID-19 in Warren County over the weekend and no new COVID-related deaths.

The number of new cases was higher than average for the month. The 15 new cases on Sunday represented a single-day high since there were 38 on Jan. 30.

The number of COVID-positive patients at Warren General Hospital was back down to three on Sunday, with none of those patients on ventilators nor in intensive care.

As of Friday, there were 1,033 people in the county who had received both doses of the vaccine and another 1,967 who had had their first dose only.

Regionally, Warren County’s numbers fit in.

About 1,100 McKean County residents are fully covered and another 1,500 have received one dose.

There have been 1,000 Venango County residents fully vaccinated and 2,000 have received their first shot.

Elk County is on the high side with 1,100 people fully vaccinated and 3,500 with one dose.

About 200 people in Forest County are fully covered and another 470 have received one dose.

Crawford County has had 4,500 residents fully covered and 5,300 more have received their first shot.

In Erie County, 5,600 people are fully covered and another 11,500 have had one dose.

According to data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, there have been 127 confirmed cases and 46 suspected cases at the Rouse Home, 100 confirmed cases and 19 suspected at Warren Manor, and 18 confirmed and no suspected cases at Kinzua Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

There have been 37 COVID-related deaths at the Rouse, 19 at Warren Manor, and one at Kinzua, according to CMS.gov.
