WAHS senior recognized for academic achievement

A Warren Area High School senior has been recognized for remarkable academic achievements.
Jason Bonavita is a winner of the College Board National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program.
“You’ve earned this recognition because of your remarkable academic achievements and outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT,” according to a letter from College Board CEO David Coleman. “You have put in the effort and your future is bright.”
“This recognition will help colleges see the potential and power of your curiosity and your commitment to learning,” according to the letter. “The College Board will help make is easier for you to connect directly to colleges around the country,” according to the letter. “We will help colleges see the range of your talents and interests by sharing some of your achievements.”
“Colleges know that students who have earned this recognition are some of the most talented across the country,” according to the letter.
“We are extremely proud of all you’ve accomplished and to honor you as part of the National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program,” Coleman said. “We are hopeful this program helps you on your path to college. On behalf of the College Board, I celebrate your success and the brightness of all that’s ahead.”
