Then & Now

Photo courtesy of Warren County Historical Society/Times Observer photo by Brian Ferry The State Theatre at 15 East Main Street in Youngsville was in operation prior to 1941 when it was operated by the Blatt Brothers Circuit, whose name is visible on the marquee. Years later when It was owned by Richard Inter, a much larger marquee was added to the front that was not torn down until 2010, although the theatre had apparently closed its doors in the early sixties. Today a portion of the marquee remains on display on the front of the building with admission prices ranging from 10Ç - 25Ç + tax.
