Wright became a partner in 1917. Metzger and a 12-year-old grandson were killed in a 1931 automobile accident when his “sedan plunged into the ditch outside the city,” according to a news report. Levinson Brothers eventually took up shop in the building, as well. Top, Brian Ferry stands on the spot of the original photograph edited with the present day photo.
