Name of crash victim released
The name of the 57-year-old man in a fatal motorcycle crash in Freehold Township last month has been released.
Glen J. Pruzenski, of Waterford, Pa., was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred on Sunday, July 22.
State police at that time reported that Pruzenski had been operating a 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Route 6 in Freehold Township at approximately 3 p.m. Pruzenski had been traveling east on Route 6, just west of Route 958, when he traveled into the westbound lane for unknown reasons, according to a July 23 Times Observer article. Pruzenski’s motorcycle was struck head-on by a 2000 Ford motorhome operated by a known 73-year-old male.
After initial impact, police said, Pruzenski’s motorcycle traveled approximately 150 feet before stopping and the motorhome crossed the left side of the roadway, striking a ditch. The motorhome’s operator suffered minor injuries to his arms, for which he was transported to Corry Memorial Hospital, according to police. State police were assisted at the scene by Wrightsville Volunteer Fire Department.
No charges have been filed related to the crash.
