Military Share food distribution is June 27 The next Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania’s Warren County Military Share food distribution will take place on Friday, June 27, at 2 p.m. The program supports income-qualifying active or retired military members and their immediate families in need of food. The distribution will be held across from the Ed Shults Dealership at 4060 Market St. The distribution takes place on the fourth Friday of even-numbered months. The group had volunteered at the House of Hope and had raked part of the fence area and filled five garbage cans. The group’s mile marker will be cleaned and mulched in May. Outdoor Club To Host Weekend Hikes On Saturday the Allegheny Outdoor Club will host a family friendly hike at 10:30 a.m. at Winterfest at the Chapman Dam. Those participating should meet at the warming hut. The hike will be an out and back hike to the swinging bridge and campground and then return. On Sunday, the club will host a 4.2 miles with moderate hills. The hike will be off Forest Road 362 off of Pleasant Drive.
