Garden club meets

The Hill & Dale Garden Club met on Oct. 25 at Mission Covenant Church with 25 members attending. A presentation was given on how to make grapevine wreaths. The club discussed how to proceed with a spring clean-up of the Sugar Grove park garden as well as program ideas for next year. The next meeting will be the Dec. 13 Christmas party held at Mama Jane’s on Dec. 13 at 12:30 p.m. A club photo will be taken at that meeting.

Outdoor club to hike

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the Black Bear Trail off of the Rimrock Rd. on Sunday, Nov. 5. The group will meet at Musante St. at 1:30 p.m. or the entrance to Rimrock at 2 p.m. The hike will be about four miles.
