Produce Express

The Second Harvest Produce Express will be at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 258 Dalrymple St, Pittsfield, on Tuesday, Sept. 6. Food pick-up will begin promptly at 2:30 p.m. A total of 80 families will be served on a first come, first served basis. No pre-registration necessary.

Bridge results

Jill Dart and Sue Swab came in first on Monday evening at the YMCA followed by Lynn Way and Richard Woodruff. At the Allegheny Community Center Tuesday afternoon Connie Lucia placed first and Marge Polito was second. Carol Stone and Linda Jensen were first and second Thursday afternoon at the Woman’s Club. Winners at the Conewango Club bridge were Donna Holding in first and Phyllis Broadbent in second.

Tidioute VFW

The Tidioute VFW board will meet on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5:30 p.m. Other meetings include the VFW meeting on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 9 a.m., Servicemen’s meeting on Sept. 11 at 9:30 a.m. and the Auxiliary meeting on Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Support group meets Thursday

The regular meeting of the Caregivers Support Group will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. Participants may enter the building from Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Winger Room. All meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about Alzheimers’ Disease and other dementias and all caregivers are welcome. A time for questions and sharing will be a part of the meeting. Information about the upcoming Warren Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24, at Betts Park, will be presented. The Support Group is sponsoring a team and sign-ups will be taken. Further information is available by contacting Linda at 726-1199.
