Route 6 bridge work to begin next week
A bridge in southeastern Warren County is closed for the next week.
According to PennDOT District 1-0 press officer Jill Harry, “the bridge that carries Route 6 over Roystone Run in Sheffield Township, Warren County is closed for a replacement project.”
The bridge is near the McKean County border.
A detour using routes 666, 948, and 66 has been posted.
Harry said the work is expected to be complete and the road to reopen Aug. 30.
