Paws Along the River animal shelter will be closed Friday, April 13, for spring cleaning.

Bon Ton lunch group

The Bon Ton lunch group will meet at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Bob Evans in North Warren.

Senior Check-In

Senior Check-In program registration, hosted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Jackson Courtroom at Warren County Courthouse.

Pleasant clean up

Pleasant Township Clean-up Day will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Pleasant Township Municipal Building, 8 Chari Lane.

Fees include: $5 per car, or $10 per pick-up truck. Anything bigger than a pick-up truck will be $20.

Drivers licenses will be checked to verify township residency.

Pleasant Township residents may bring any articles to discard with the following exceptions:

No household garbage.

No shingles or similar roofing material.

No tires or hazardous materials such as chemicals, biohazards, paints, thinners or oil.

No electronics.

Car batteries will be accepted but will be palletized separately.

Scrap metals and used motor oil will be collected separately.

Gasses/chemicals must be removed from refrigerators, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers.

Pleasant Volunteer Firefighters will plan to assist and accept donations for the Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department.
