Here Mr. Weaver and Irving the Honey Bee talk about the importance of bees in our world and being nice to bees. Check remaining summer library events at www.warrenlibrary.org under Children’s Events. Children who registered for the reading component of the summer program can claim prizes now through August 12.

The men of Warren High School class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at Perkins in Warren on Tuesday, July 25 at 9 a.m.
Cruise-In at Youngsville
A” Cruise In” will be held on Sunday, July 23, to benefit the YHS Marching Band for its trip to Ireland 2018. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon. Music entertainment will be present during the event. Awards will be given at 4 p.m. for the vehicles. All vehicles are welcome to enter and venders are welcome to attend the gathering. Reflexology – at the Allegheny Community Center with Denny Mason at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 26. Reflexology is beneficial for restoring balance and harmony in the body and releasing tension.
It can help facilitate a deep state of relaxation, calm the emotions and produce a serene mind.

Russell community vacation bible school announces “a Wild West adventure in God’s word!” It will be held July 31-August 4 at Russell United Methodist Church, Main Street, Russell, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., for ages preschool-sixth grade. Friday will be a family carnival with food, games and lots of fun.

Together, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Subaru are spreading hope, love, and warmth to cancer patients through small gestures of hope. LLS and Subaru are donating over 38,000 blankets and messages of hope, written by Subaru customers, to patients across the country, and donate arts and crafts kits to children battling cancer. Sean Ellsworth, of Ed Shults of Warren, is pictured with cancer survivor James Phillips along with Terry Cook, WGH Cancer Care Center Director. Brenda Bidwell and Angela Austin, from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, help deliver the blankets and arts and craft kits for children with cancer to the WGH Cancer Care Center.
