Plea entered at preliminary hearings

One guilty plea was entered while charges were withdrawn against two during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

Colby E. Lyle, 43, Warren, pleaded guilty to charges at four dockets including as charges to criminal attempt – theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. He pleaded guilty to theft from a motor vehicle. Charges of theft from a motor vehicle and loitering and prowling at night time withdrawn and also pleaded guilty to theft from a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, 11 counts of possession of a controlled substance, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants:

Barbara L. Lobb, 34, Jamestown, N.Y. Lobb had been charged with retail theft. Two counts of retail theft were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses.

Bradley S. Wakefield, 62, Titusville. Wakefield had been charged with possession of unstamped cigarettes. A count of no rear lights was re-categorized as a traffic offense while another count of possession of unstamped cigarettes was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
