Several Pleas are entered in county court

A number of pleas were entered before Judge Gregory Hammond on Thursday during change of plea and arraignment proceedings held at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Karen K. Bailey, Warren, to simple assault and defiant trespass. Charges of endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct — unreasonable noise and two counts of public drunkenness were not prosecuted.

¯ George A. Boyer, Jamestown, NY, to DUI and fail to keep right. Charges of careless driving and violate hazard regulation were not prosecuted.

¯ Brian E. Depto, Kane, to recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct. Charges including two counts of simple assault, false alarm, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct were not prosecuted.

¯ Glenn A. Hopkins, Sr., Corry, to materially false written statement related to a firearm. A count of statement under penalty was not prosecuted.

¯ Tab D. Hunter, Corry, to simple assault and criminal mischief — damage property. Charges of strangulation and harassment were not prosecuted.

¯ Michelle M. Johnson, Warren, to DUI and disregard traffic lane. Charges of careless driving, failure to use safety belt and driving without a license were not prosecuted.

¯ Ernest V. Kreckel, Jr., Warren, to possession with intent to deliver. Charges of criminal use of a communications facility and possession of a controlled substance were not prosecuted.

¯ Matthew B. Vanarsdale, Warren, to charges at two dockets. At one, Vanarsdale pled guilty to theft by deception and fail to notify change in address while charges of conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver) and criminal use of a communications facility were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Vanarsdale pled guilty to conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver) while charges of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana — small amount personal use, no rear lights and required financial responsibility were not prosecuted.

¯ Brandon M. Wilson, Akron, Oh., to charges at two dockets. At one, Wilson pled guilty to possession with intent to deliver while charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were not prosecuted. At a second docket, Wilson pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute while charges of possession with intent to deliver, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and marijuana — small amount personal use were not prosecuted.

The following defendants entered not guilty pleas:

¯ George A. Flasher, Sheffield. Flasher has been charged with retail theft and theft by unlawful taking.

¯ Steven L. Hinson, Warren. Hinson has been charged with simple assault, resisting arrest and harassment.

¯ Daniel L. Lester, Pittsfield. Lester has been charged with two counts of DUI and careless driving.

¯ William J. Moore, Sheffield. Moore faces charges of possession of firearm prohibited, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of marijuana — small amount personal use, driving license suspended related to DUI, driving an unregistered vehicle, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and improper sunscreening.

¯ Jason A. Seybert, Youngsville. Seybert has been charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Donald A. Walters, Tiona. Walters faces charges at two dockets. At one Walters has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, fraud — alter/forge/counterfeit title, registration or insurance, poss/sale/use display documents, required financial responsibility, investigation by officer/duty of operator and tamper with/fabricate physical evidence. At a second docket Walters has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
