Three defendants entered guilty pleas while charges were withdrawn against three during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

Jason Evans, Celoron, N.Y., to marijuana — small amount personal use.

Abigail Higgins, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance. Charges of possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility were withdrawn.

Julie Swanson, Warren, to criminal attempt — possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct — unreasonable noise. At a second docket, Swanson pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia while a count of possession of a controlled substance was withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

Ryan Haner, Corry. Haner had been charged with simple assault and criminal mischief — damage property. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Jami Hillman, Warren. Hillman had been charged with retail theft. A count of retail theft was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Thomas Parker, Harborcreek, Pa. Parker had been charged with possession/sale/use of display documents. Charges of driving while license suspended or revoked, driving an unregistered vehicle, improper display place and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection were re-categorised as traffic offenses.
