Warren

Probation Violations. On June 27, Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department with assistance from the Warren City Police Department, Conewango Township Police Department and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department arrested Michael Connolly, 27 and Ian Weldon, 34, both of Warren, on charges of probation violation. Officers initially responded to a complaint from Warren General Hospital staff after Connolly entered the emergency room around midnight acting in a wild and aggressive manner. Warren City, Conewango, and Probation Department officers searched for Weldon throughout the night.

Following up on a lead, Probation and Warren City officers stopped at Weldon’s residence on Fifth Ave., shortly after 9 a.m. There, they found Weldon in a drug induced state. He acknowledged that Connolly had been at his residence for a few hours earlier that night. Upon examination of Weldon’s arms, fresh injection sites were observed. Weldon admitted that he had recently used “Bath Salts” with both Connolly and Mikki Pierce, 24, of Warren. Weldon was transported to the Warren County Jail.

Shortly after noon, Probation and Sheriff’s Deputies found Connolly’s vehicle hidden behind a house on Rt. 957 near Russell. Officer’s surrounded the house, and Connolly surrendered without incident. He was also found to have fresh injection sites on his arms and he admitted to recent use of “Bath Salts” with Weldon and Pierce. Connolly was then transported to Warren County Jail.

A Supervisor’s Warrant has been issued by the Warren County Adult Probation Department for Mikki Pierce. Connolly, who had been placed on probation for Criminal Trespass and Weldon, who was placed on probation for DUI, remain incarcerated at the Warren County Jail on probation Violations, pending further court action.

The Probation Department has made four arrests in the past seven days for violations that involved the use of “Bath Salts”.

Conewango Twp.

Retail Theft. Conewango Twp. Police responded to Warren Commons’ Walmart on June 14 at 11:30 p.m. after Walmart Loss Prevention reported two unknown females entered into Walmart and took $2015.00 worth of merchandise from the electronics department. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Conewango Twp. Police.

Retail Theft. Conewango Twp. Police responded to Warren Commons’ Walmart on June 26 at 4:05 p.m. after Walmart Loss Prevention reported two male juveniles concealed $15.33 worth of merchandise without paying. Both juveniles were issued Non-Traffic citations for a Summary Retail Theft and were released into the custody of their parents.

Mead Twp.

Possession. While serving a search warrant on an unrelated issue at the Rest Stop 6 Inn, Room #7, Warren-based state police observed an abundance of drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain sight. During the course of executing the obtained search warrant, numerous additional drug and drug paraphernalia items were located and seized. Raymond Snyder, 19, and John Snyder, 21, both of Warren, were charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft by Deception, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both Accused were arraigned before District Magistrate Bauer and committed to the Warren County Jail in Lieu of $50,000 bail. Further court action is pending.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle crash on Rt 957 east of Stillson Hill Rd. on June 25 at 11:38 p.m. According to the police report, Leonard Edmisten, 48 of Sugar Grove was traveling west on Rt 957 when his vehicle struck a horse in the roadway with the passenger’s front end. The vehicle, a 1994 Ford F150 came to rest approx. 200 feet from the point of impact. The horse was located off the roadway approx. 90 feet from the point of impact, deceased. The owner of the horse was located and informed. The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage. Edmisten was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. During the course of the investigation, the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Charges of DUI and Summary violations will be filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office. Sugar Grove and Lander VFDs assisted at the scene and Rareys towed the vehicle from the scene.

Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on June 25 at 7:10 p.m. Brenda Denise Carroll, 35, Warren, repeatedly screamed at and confronted Bessica Jane Walter, 38, Warren. Police said Carroll’s actions served no legitimate purpose, alarmed Walter and caused Warren State Hospital staff to intervene and separate the Carroll from Walter. Police said charges were filed against Carroll at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office in North Warren.

Pittsfield Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between Dec. 15, 2012 and Jan. 7, 2013 a burglary occurred at a camp on Pulfer Hill Road belonging to Walter Gorr Jr., Coraopolis, Pa. Police said their investigation revealed that Robbie L. Russ, 28, Erie, committed the burglary and theft of a generator, copper tubing and other miscellaneous items. Russ was charged with burglary and theft through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office and an arrest warrant was issued. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers. Police said Nicholas Keith Bennett, 25, Spring Creek, received stolen property from Russ. Police said it was also determined that Bennett drove while intoxicated attempting to retrieve stolen property.

Youngsville

Retail theft. Youngsville Borough police reported that Lugene Sturdevant, E. Main St., Youngsville, put fuel in his vehicle at Kwik Fill and drove away without paying on June 6 and June 8. Police said that both times Sturdevant pumped approximately $20 worth of fuel and then fled the gas station. Police said charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Domestic violence. Youngsville Borough police were dispatched to 45 Second St. for a domestic dispute at 4:55 p.m. June 25. Police said the call involved a male and female, with the male having a knife in his possession. Police said Donald Pierce, 45, Youngsville, made several threats against the officers while being barricaded in the basement of the residence. Police said they were later able to calm Pierce down and take him into custody. Police said Pierce has been charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment for this threats of violence against the officers. He was taken before District Justice Glenn Carlson for arraignment then placed in the Warren County Jail with bail set at $435,000.

Found property. On Monday, June 24, at approximately 11 a.m., Youngsville Borough police received two bicycles that were found in the Brokenstraw Creek just off of the bridge on E. Main St. The bikes were recovered out of the creek and brought to the police department. If anyone is missing bicycles, or has any information about the bicycles being taken, they are asked to contact the borough police.

Hit and run. Warren-based state police said a Toyota Prius was legally parked in the 800 block of Matthews Run Road on June 19 in Youngsville. Police said an unknown vehicle was traveling east and its right front hit the left rear of the Toyota Prius, sideswiping the vehicle . After impact, the unknown vehicle fled the scene, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Farmington Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report between the hours of 6 p.m. on June 20 and 8 a.m. on June 21, unknown individual(s) placed sugar in the gas tank of a 2002 Chevy Impala belonging to a 24 year-old male from Russell, while it was parked at Chase Care Care on Rt. 957. Sugar Grove

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report between the hours of 10 p.m. on June 14 and 1:30 a.m. June 15, unknown individual(s) placed liquid soap in the gas tank of a 2002 Chevy Impala belonging to a 24 year-old male from Russell, while it was parked at the corner of Main St. and Big Tree Rd. in Sugar Grove. Total damage has yet to be determined. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers at 800-83-CRIME.

Found Property. Warren-based state police report a sum of money was found in Sugar Grove and turned into them on June 21 at 9 p.m. Anyone wishing to claim the property should contact the Warren-based state police and ask to speak with Trooper Barr. Please be prepared to give a specific description of the property and where it was lost.

Eldred Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on June 19 at 10:30 p.m. Laura E. Bailes, 20, Grand Valley, subjected a known 11-year-old male, also of Grand Valley, to unwanted physical contact at a campfire at a residence on Fiddlers Green Road. Bailes was cited for harassment and charges have been filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Glade Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that on June 20 at 4:51 p.m. a 1985 Ford Bronco II driven by Lenny Steber, 18, Warren, was traveling south in the 2100 block of Jackson Ave. when he swerved to miss an oncoming vehicle in his lane. Steber lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle rolled over twice. Steber was wearing his seatbelt and he sustained minor injuries. State police were assisted at the scene by Glade VFD and EmergyCare.

Pine Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between June 19 and 20 someone threw eggs and ketchup at a vehicle belonging to Jill L. Zimmerman, 31, Russell, in the driveway of a residence in Russell.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that betweeon 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on June 19 someone took the screws out of a lock on a shed belonging to a known 27-year-old female, Chandlers Valley. Nothing was reported missing by the victim. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to call the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to Warren State Hospital on June 12 at 10:50 p.m. after a patient, Brenda Carroll, 35, kicked the leg and scratched the wrist of a 63-year-old female employee. Police said Carroll will answer to charges before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Farmington Twp.

Charged. Warren-based state police were called to a residence on Jackson Run Road at 7:10 p.m. June 18. According to police, Julie Stillwell, Columbus, Ohio, pulled the hair of Ashley Mountain, 22, Sugar Grove, spit on her, and shoved her. Police said Stillwell, who was highly intoxicated, ran around inside the residence nude, subsequently exposing herself to numerous children under the age of 16 before running outside, along Jackson Run Road, exposing herself to neighbors and passing motorists. Police apprehended Stillwell and she was arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer on charges of harassment, public drunkenness, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct. She was then remanded to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.

Mead Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to a business along Route 6 on June 18 at 3 p.m. after a 64-year-old male choked a 54-year-old female with his hands. Charged were filed with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Theft. Warren-based state police responded to the Rest Stop 6 Inn in Tiona after Barbara Sonnett, Warren, reported $15,500 worth of guitars, amplifiers, and cases were stolen from the bar area of the business. Police report the incident occurred between May 25 and 28.

Clarendon

Simple assault. Warren-based state police were called to an incident in front of a residence on N. Main Street on June 18 at 6 p.m. According to police, a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old male were involved in an altercation. Police said charges are pending.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Criminal mischief. Personnel at Pleasant Valley Inn reported to Warren-based state police that someone cut a screen door and broke a crawl space window between 2 and 10 a.m. on June 10. Police said damage is estimated at $170. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Warren

Parole violation. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Dante D. Anzalone, 22, Russell, on June 11 on charges of violation of parole. Anzalone, who was originally placed on parole on charges of loitering and prowling at night, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Conewango Township Police were called to the Warren Commons Walmart after Christina Meals, 42, Warren, was observed by loss prevention officers taking $44.26 worth of merchandise and failing to pay. Police said Meals was also found in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed for a misdemeanor drug charge and a summary retail theft. Police said Meals was released.

Criminal mischief. Conewango Township police reportedthat on June 8 at 1 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence on Cook Street for a report of a suspicious person walking around in the back yard with a flashlight. Upon arrival, police met with Mary Anne Wolford and she reported that she saw a person walking around in her backyard and found that someone had stabbed a hole into the backside of her pool, causing damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police or call the Warren Couty Crime Stoppers.

Deerfield Twp.

Burglary. State police are investigating a burglary at a Deerfield Township residence on Tidioute Creek Road that reportedly took place between 12:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:35 p.m. Sunday. Police said someone tried to gain access through a door of the residence.

Glade Twp.

Theft. Police are investigating the theft of a Kindle Fire HD that was taken from a girl’s backpack during school on May 28.

Identity theft. Police are investigating a reported case of identity theft from February 2012, in which someone reportedly used personal information of a Warren man to obtain credit to pay for goods and services.

Pittsfield Twp.

Mischief. Police are searching for the person who damaged a window of a tractor between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Danielson Road, Pittsfield Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact Warren-based state police.

Warren

Crash. Warren based State Police said Racheal L. Anderson, 20, Jamestown, NY, was traveling southbound on SR 1015 (Akley Rd.) on wet roads when the vehcile lost control, spun counterclockwise and traveled off the roadway stricking a telephone pole. According to Police, after impact, Anderson spun in a clockwise direction coming to a final rest facing North off the edge of the roadway. Anderson was not injured.

Warren City Police reported the following incidents:

Retail Theft. On June 4, Dennis Schmader, 39, of Warren, was cited for retail theft after an investigation of stolen merchandise totaling $16.58.

Right of Way. On June 4, Patrick Brown, 76, Warren, was cited for Right of Way of Pedestrians in Crosswalk after an accident where a pedestrian was struck.

Careless Driving. On June 5, Lori Burnside, 50, of Warren was cited for Careless Driving following a two-vehicle accident at Hemlock and Wiley St.

Careless Driving. On June 4, Shawna Brant, 36, Jamestown, was cited for Careless Driving following a two-vehicle accident at Pennsylvania and Hazel.

Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic. On June 2, Michelle Snider, 49 of Warren was cited for Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic after a one-vehicle accident on Pennsylvania Ave. East.

Bad Check. On May 30, Lindsay Campbell, 33 Warren, was charged with Bad Checks following an investigation by police.

Sexual Assault. On May 29, a juvenile was charged with Sexual Assault of Children, Child Pornography following an investigation by police.

Public Drunkenness. On June 6, Robert Heller, 36, Russell, was cited with Public Drunkenness after an officer observed him staggering down a sidewalk.

Disorderly Conduct. On June 1, Donald O’Keefe, 56, Warren was cited for Disorderly Conduct and Public Drunkenness after a report of a man staggering and falling several times.

Indecent Exposure. On May 29, a juvenile was charged with Indecent Exposure following a police investigation.

Theft. On June 6, Timothy Cruickshank, 45, Warren, was charged with Theft of Property, Lost, Mislaid, or Delivered, Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, and Receiving Stolen property following a theft of a wallet that had been left behind by a customer at a local convenience store.

Harassment. On June 6, Brian Jasurek, 18 and Michael Sechrist, 39, both of Warren, were cited for Harassment after police were called to a physical fight at a residence in the city.

Possession. On June 7, James Noonan, 50, Kane was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts) & Public Drunkenness after officers were called to a man exhibiting bizarre behavior.

Disorderly Conduct. On June 9, Deborah Miles, 41, Warren, was charged with Disorderly Conduct & Public Drunkenness after several calls were received regarding a woman acting strangely while walking down the street.

Solicitation. On June 7, Nasrudin Ahmed, 36, Philadelphia; Thomas Carr, Jr., 20, Philadelphia; Vincent Doran, 22, Benesalem; Matthew Koenig, 26, Philadelphia; Mark Rosarion, 24, Philadelphia; and Patrick Sevick, 22, Bensalem, were all cited in violation of the City of Warren’s Solitation Ordinance following a complaint by a resident.

Possession of Drugs. Warren County Drug Task Force filed charges against Cassie Perrin, 25, of Youngsville. The charges stem from an arrest that was made in the city of Warren on Feb. 2, 2012 at which time Perrin had a controlled substance (Schedule III) in her possession that was not perscribed to her. Charges were filed with District Magistrate Carlson’s Office.

Youngsville

Drug Charges. Charles Sunderlin, 29, of Youngsville, has been charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Police filed charges after an arrest was made on Feb. 2, 2012 for a felony drug arrest warrant. He was in possession of a small amount of marijuana, a pipe, and a white powdery substance which tested positive for a schedule II controlled substance. Charges were filed by the Warren County Drug Task Force at District Magistrate Lindemuth’s Office.

Drug Charges. Joseph Kuzminski, 26, Youngsville, has been charged with six counts of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and one count of possession of marijuana stemming from an arrest that was made on Feb. 2, 2012. While agents from the Warren County Drug Task Force took Kuzminski into custody, he was found in possession of marijuana and a glass pipe with marijuana residue. After a search of his apartment, several other pipes, baggies, and pills were discovered. Charges have been filed with District Magistrate Lindemuth’s Office.

Warren

Simple assault. Warren-based state police reported that on May 22 a known 11-month-old female suffered a broken wrist. According to police, the investigation remains open.

Eldred Twp.

Rape. Warren-based state police reported that between August 7, 2011 and August 13, 2011 a known 16-year-old female reported being raped by a 19-year-old male at a residence on Fiddlergreen Road. The investigation continues.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on June 11 at 3;15 p.m. on US 6 west of Ross St. A 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by Rachel Campbell, 22, Russell, was traveling west negotiating a right curve in the roadway. The left front wheel detached from the vehicle, causing the vehicle to travel off the north berm approximately 12 feet, coming to a final rest along the north berm. The left front wheel traveled approximately 125′ west of the vehicle, coming to rest along the south berm. No charges were filed and Campbell was not injured. Chase Car Care removed the vehicle from the scene.

Youngsville

Scam. Youngsville Borough police received a report from a resident that an unknown male called her residence requesting personal information from her. The unknown male caller stated that she will recieve a free medical alert system if she gives him personal information about her. The female did not give any information to him.

Criminal mischief. Youngsville Borough police received a report from John Pollow of East Main St., Youngsville, who reported to police that somtime between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, someone did damage to his Dodge truck that was parked in front of his business, scratching the side of the truck and dumping sandbags in the bed. Anyone with information is asked to call Youngsville Borough police.

Theft. Youngsville Borough police said that they are investigating two separate gas drive-offs from Kwik Fill in Youngsville. On Thursday, June 6, and Sunday, June 9, a green car drove to the gas pumps, received $20 worth of gas, and fled the scene without paying. The driver was described as a male in his 20s with blonde hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Youngsville Borough police.

Bear Lake

Theft. Corry-based state police responded to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle at a private residence on Happy Town Rd. on June 6 at 5 a.m. According to police, the suspect arrived at the residence in the suspect vehicle, an unknown sedan. Police said, upon arrival, the suspect gained access to the victim’s vehicle and removed $15 cash. The victim, Dean Morton, 47, of Bear Lake, observed the suspect flee in a southbound direction and gave chase. The suspect eventually eluded the victim. Anyone with information is asked to contact Corry-based state police. An investigation is on-going.

Brokenstraw

Twp.

Indecent Assault. Warren-based state police are investigating an allegation of indecent assault against a 6-year-old victim from Tiona. According to police, the assault occurred between Dec. 1 and Dec. 17, 2012.

Mead Twp.

Indecent Assault. Warren-based state police are investigating an allegation of indecent assault against a 5-year-old victim from Warren. According to police, the assault occurred June 2 between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m.

Harassment/Underage Drinking. Warren-based state police are investigating an assault that occurred on Morrison Run Rd. on June 9 at 12:30 a.m. According to police, Daren Campbell, 28, struck Kevin Apthorp, 19, several times. Apthorp went to Warren General Hospital for treatment and to report the assault. He was subsequently charged for consumption of alcohol by a minor. Campbell was charged with harassment. Both charges were filed through District Magistrate Laura Bauer’s office.

Warren

DUI. Warren-based state police said they stopped Rhonda Barton, 48, Grand Valley, at 4:30 p.m. June 7 at Route 6 and Ludlow Street for several traffic violations. Police said Barton was found to be under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested for DUI. Police said the DUI charge and several other traffic violations are pending with District Justice Glenn Carlson’s office.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. According to Conewango Township Police, two males, who appeared to be in their teens, stole two powered/handicap carts from Walmart at 2:37 a.m. June 8. Police said the two rode the carts out of the store and across the Warren Commons parking lot towards Lowe’s. Police said one cart was found damaged behind Lowe’s and the other one is still missing. Glade Twp.

Terroristic threats. Warren-based state police responded to a reported terroristic threat at the Holly Apartments at 8:15 a.m. June 8. According to police, Joseph Windham, 20, Warren, and the two victims a 37-year-old male and a 43-year-old female were having an argument over rent money. Police said Windham told the two victims that he was going to get a gun and come back and shoot them; he also told the male that he would stab him in the heart with a knife. Police said Windham was arrested for terroristic threats and arraigned before District Justice George Gregory and committed to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Mead Twp.

Simple assault/harassment. Warren-based state police responded to an incident in the area of Keenan Street at 2:50 a.m. June 8. According to police, a 29-year-old female and a 27-year-old male, both of Warren, got into a verbal altercation which turned physical. According to police, the male shoved the female, and she then struck him in the face several times. Police said the male suffered moderate injury to his face and head and the female suffered minor scratches on the upper chest. The female was arrested and arraigned before District Justice George Gregory on charges of simple assault and harassment, then released on $5,000 unsecured bail. The male was charged with harassment before District Justice Laura Bauer.

Pine Grove Twp.

Burglary. Lee Lundmark, Russell, reported to Warren-based state police that someone entered his hunting camp, 951 Swede Hill Rd., between midnight Dec. 1, 2012, and 3 p.m. June 2 and took some guns valued at approximately $2,600. Anyone with information is asked th contact the state police.

Southwest Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to an reported incident of harassment at 10 p.m. June 8 in the area of Black Bear Lane. According to police, Mark Plemmons, 59, Pleasantville, and James Tucker, 40, Centerville, subjected each other to physical contact; no injuries were reported. Police said both were charged with harassment through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Southwest Twp.

Simple Assault. Warren-based state police investigated a simple assault that occurred as a result of a property dispute. According to police, Bruce Stroup and Zachery Plemmons entered into a physical altercation that resulted in injuries to both parties. Charges of Simple Assault are pending.

Warren

Access Device Fraud. Warren-based state police investigated an Access Device Fraud that occurred on May 22, 2013. Police said Amber Albaugh 26, Warren, used a card belonging to Elizabeth M. Johnson, 29, Warren , several times at Kwik Fill and Country Fair of Warren to make purchases and withdrawals totaling a loss of $508.60. Charges were filed through Magistrate Carlson’s office.

Pittsfield Twp.

Theft/Criminal Mischief. Two known victims of Pittsfield, reported to the Warren-based state police between Jan 1, and May 29, that an unknown individual took a fireproof lockbox and urinated on various items of clothing at a residence located on State Route 27.

Clarendon.

Criminal Conspiracy and Theft. Warren-based state police report Jonathan Williams, Jamestown NY, was recently accused of acts of Criminal Conspiracy and Theft against Stone Concrete, Clarendon; Elkhorn Propane, Warren; and Horners Salvage, Sugar Grove. Williams was arrested in New York State on unrelated charges and transported to the Warren County for arraignment on the above mentioned charges. Williams was committed to Warren County Jail with bail set at $75,000 by District Magistrate Lindemuth. According to police, the value of the property stolen by Williams was $7,500.

Parole violation. On May 31, officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Zachary E. Battko, 21, Sheffield, on charges of violation of parole. Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. On June 5, Conewango Township Police responded to Walmart for a report of a retail theft after loss prevention observed Bridget Bardo, 30, Patricia Bargy, 54, and Destiny Franze, 24, all from Randolph, N.Y., conceal $345 worth of merchandise and leave the store without paying. Police said the three were apprehended in the parking lot. They were taken before District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth and remanded to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $5,000, $5,000 and $2,500 bail, respectively. Warren-based state police assisted at the scene.

Columbus Twp.

Burglary. Corry-based state police are investigating an incident in which unknown individuals entered the residence of Phyllis Yvonne Stroup, 71, while she was not home and stole her Panasonic 37-inch television set. Criminal mischief. Conewango Township Police report between 10:45 p.m. June 2 and 7:45 a.m. June 3, someone rummaged through several unlocked vehicles and used a hard object to break windows and cause body damage to two locked vehicles along Benjamin Lane and Jacob Lane. Several items were taken, including a power inverter and a set of golf clubs, along with various items and change from several different victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police at 726-0725.

Deerfield Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report between April 21 and May 25 someone removed a 1998 Coleman Pop-Up camper from a private camp located on Cobham Station Rd. The camper is described as white in color with a dented roof where the air conditioning unit is mounted. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Farmington Twp.

Attempted burglary. Warren-based state police report on May 25 at 10:28 a.m. Tommy Petey, 50, Jamestown, N.Y., attempted to forcibly enter a residence, damaging the residence door with the owners of the residence inside. The accused was operating a dark Chevrolet Trail Blazer with New York registration. Police said an investigation into the incident led to identification of Petey. He was charged with attempted burglary, criminal trespass and possession of implements of crime. Police said a warrant was obtained due to the accused leaving his last known address. Clarendon

Crash. Warren-based state police report on June 4 at 5 p.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Center St. and Brown Ave. According to police, the crash occurred as an unnamed, 16-year-old female from Clarendon was heading west on Center St. and failed to stop at the stop sign, striking a vehicle driven by 71-year-old Mary Kowaluk of Segal, Pa. as she was heading north on Brown Ave. Police said Kowaluk and her 71-year-old male passenger were transported to Kane Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Police said the 16-year-old, who was not injured, was cited for stop signs and yield signs, along with other various traffic violations.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police report on June 4 at 5:06 p.m., a known16-year-old female took a vehicle from an Anchor St. residence and drove it without the owner’s permission.

Youngsville

Burglary. On June 3 at approximately 8 a.m. Youngsville Borough Police were dispatched to 501 High St. for a burglary. Police said it is believed the burglary took place between May 28 and June 2. Theft. Youngsville Borough Police are investigating a theft that occurred between 6 p.m. June 4 and 6 p.m. June 5 at 124 Poplar Street. Arrest. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Heather N. Smith, 24, 415 Fourth Ave., Apr. A., on May 30 on charges of violation of probation. The defendant, who was originally placed on probation on a charge of defiant trespass, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Arrest. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Seneca M. Booth, 24, 1793 Clymer Hill Road, N.Y., on May 20 on charges of violation of probation. The defendant, who was originally placed on probation on a charge of retail theft, was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on May 31 at 6 p.m. Brenda Carroll, 35, Warren, subjected a known 38-year-old female, Warren, to physical contact by kicking her in the face multiple times at Warren State Hospital. The victim suffered minor injury from the altercation. Police said charges are pending through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Glade Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on May 30 at 7:10 p.m. a known 62-year-old male, Warren, subjected a known 14-year-old male, also of Warren, to physical contract by pulling the victim off of his ATV by his left arm. The victim did not sustain any injury from the altercation. Charges are pending with District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on May 30 at 4:30 a.m. someone drove through hay fields belonging to Hatch Patch causing damage estimated at $100. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between Jan. 1 and May 26 someone damaged an unoccupied trailer and a three-quarter ton four-wheel drive Chevrolet truck approximately three-tenths of a mile behind Davies & Sons in the woods near a lease road belonging to James and Debbie Davies, both of Warren. Police said the damage is thought to have occurred over a long period of time. The investigation is ongoing.

Mead Twp.

Simple assault. Warren-based state police said they are investigating an alleged child abuse case. Between May 19 and 24, the victim, a known two-year-old female, was found to have several unexplained bruises on several parts of her body. Police said the investigation continues in conjunction with Warren County Children and Youth Services.

Pine Grove Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between May 22 and 31 someone smashed multiple windows with an unknown object out of a residence belonging to Gina Passenger in the area of Cottage Place Road in Russell. Damage is estimated at $1,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between June 2 at 7 p.m. and June 3 at 7:05 a.m. someone struck a mailbox of a known male on Cable Hollow Road with a treated lumber 2×4. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Spring Creek

Twp.

Indecent assault. Warren-based state police reported that they are investigating allegation of indecent assault that occurred between 2008 and 2011 that were reported by a known 14-year-old female of Corry. The investigation remains open.

Watson Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on May 30 at 6:32 a.m. on Route 62 north of Cobham Hill Road. According to police, Mona Lester, 57, Tidioute, was traveling north on Route 62 in a 1996 Chevrolet van and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle traveled along the north berm making initial contact with an embankment before rolling over and landing on its wheels. The vehicle came to rest facing south in the northbound lane. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Lester was transported to Warren General Hospital. Tidioute volunteer firefighters and EmergyCare assisted at the scene. Police said that Lester was charged but did not list a violation.

Clarendon

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on May 29 at 7:50 p.m. a known 51-year-old male of Clarendon pushed a known 45-year-old female, also of Clarendon, and physically picked her up and set her outside her residence. Charges are being filed through District Justice Laura Bauer.

Tidioute

Arrested. Officers of the Warren County Adult Probation Department arrested Tobin J. Farr, 27, 3235 Tidioute Creek Road, on May 17 on charges of violation of probation. Farr, who was originally placed on probation on a charge of theft by unlawful taking was arrested on a supervisor’s warrant and committed to the Warren County Jail pending further court action.

Theft of services. Tidioute Borough police reported that sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning someone put a large quantity of trash in a dumpster on the property of Buccardo’s Restaurant. Anyone who may have seen this is asked to contact police.

Underage drinking. Warren-based state police reported that on May 30 at 8:30 p.m. Waylon Henderson, 19, Tidioute, was located in front of his residence unconscious with an injury. Henderson was flown to UPMC Hamot, Erie, where he was treated and released. Henderson was determined to have consumed alcoholic beverages being under the age of 21. He has been cited through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Youngsville

Retail theft. Youngsville Borough Police have charged Michael Mead, 36, Youngsville, with retail theft. Police said the theft occurred on May 2 at Kwik Fill. Charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Corruption of minors. Youngsville Borough Police have charged Jerry Blount of Fourth St., Youngsville, with three counts of corruption of minors, indecent exposure, and open lewdness. Police said the offensive acts, which were committed in the presence of a juvenile, happened between April 2012 and January 2013. Police said charges have been filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Accident. Youngsville Borough police responded to a motor vehicle accident at approximately 4 p.m. May 29 at the intersection of Route 6 and W. Main Street. According to police, a 2000 Ford Ranger operated by Eugene Rodgers, Youngsville, struck a 2000 Chevrolet Impala operated by Andrew Irvine, Youngsville, which was stopped at a red traffic signal. After impact, the Irvine vehicle then struck a 2004 Chevrolet operated by Homer Youngblood, Roulette, which was also stopped at the light. The Youngblood vehicle then struck a 2003 Mazda operated by Sandra Franklin, Meadville, which was also stopped at the light. No injuries occurred. Two vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Police said charges are being filed against Rodgers for following too closely and careless driving with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Theft of a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that on May 24 at 2 p.m. someone took a 1996 white Oldsmobile Alero coupe from Branden Montgomery, Youngsville, and failed to return it.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that on May 24 Nicholas Peterson, 32, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after officers were dispatched to a report of an unresponsive male at the intersection of Marion St. and Pennsylvania Ave.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that on May 25 John Hilyer, 53, Sheffield, was cited for stop signs and yield signs violations following an accident at the intersection of Buchanan St. and Center St.

Pedestrian accident. City of Warren police reported that on May 28 Raymond Wiehagan, 62, Warren, was cited for pedestrian control signals after a traffic accident at the intersection of Hickory St. and Fourth Ave. after striking a pedestrian.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that on May 28 Kennie Campbell, 60, Jamestown, N.Y., was cited with careless driving after officers responded to an accident at the intersection of Market St. and Second Ave.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that on May 25 Michael Manderfield, 18, Warren, was cited for underage drinking after officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle that was sitting in the parking lot of a local business.

Simple assault. City of Warren police reported that on May 24 Ralph E. Haight, Warren, was charged with simple assault and harassment after a physical domestic dispute was reported to officers. Haight was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Possession. City of Warren police reported that on May 27 Tyler Gelotte, 21, Warren, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and a juvenile offender was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest after police were called to a local restaurant to investigate the report of two men in the bathroom possibly using drugs.

Public drunkenness. City of Warren police reported that on May 28 Adam Peterson, 25, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after police received a report of an unresponsive male laying along the roadside at Redwood St. and Third Ave.

Theft. City of Warren police reported that on May 25 Tarren McConville, 26, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and driving while operative privilege is suspended or revoked after officers received a report that a vehicle had been stolen by a known subject. McConville was arraigned and placed in the Warren County Jail on $10,000 bail.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that on May 18 Mark Pessia Jr., 29, Bradford, was charged with two counts of DUI, tire equipment and traction services and driving on the right side of the roadway after a traffic stop.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that on May 18 Michael Philhower, 29, Warren, was cited for harassment after officers received a report of continuing harassment by communication.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that on May 18, Nicole Hauck, 32, Randolph, N.Y., was charged with two counts of DUI and DUI (BAC .10-.16) after a one-vehicle accident where she backed a vehicle into a building.

Pedestrian accident. City of Warren police reported that on May 21 Jeffrey Banko, 27, Warren, was cited for stop signs and yield signs following a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic accident at the intersection of Conewango Ave. and Pioneer St.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that on May 5 Kyle Whitten, 21, Russell, was cited for disorderly conduct after officers received a call of a fight at Jackson Ave. and Hertzel St. Police said officers discovered there was no fight, but Whitten was being loud and disruptive enough to cause alarm to neighbors.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that on May 22 Charalampos Afionis, 32, Warren, was cited for traffic control signals following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Conewango Ave. and Fifth Ave. after he failed to stop at a steady red light and struck a TAWC bus.

Warrant Arrest. Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies and Warren County Adult Probation arrested Shawn Dibble, 30, of Warren, on May 31, at 10:10 a.m. He was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear for fines and cost court issued by Warren County Court of Common Pleas. He was placed in the Warren County Prison pending further court action.

Clarendon

Theft. Warren-based state police report on April 27, Jeremy Anderson, 29, of Clarendon, took a Craftsman Jigsaw from Sheila Anderson, 52, of Clarendon, without permission and sold it. J. Anderson is being charged with theft and will answer to the charges in Warren County Court.

Pleasant Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to a Crescent Park address on May 28 at 11:35 a.m. According to police, a suspect and victim were in a verbal argument when the suspect grabbed the neck of the 40-year-old female and pushed her down on the bed. The suspect was scared off by a family member of the victim and fled the scene. The victim declined prosecution.

Sugar Grove

Missing Person. Warren-based state police report Leonard Edmisten, 48, of Sugar Grove, has been located and is reportedly okay. Edmisten was reported missing on May 28.

Youngsville

Theft. Youngsville Police filed a theft charge against a 13-year-old male for taking an elderly woman’s cash during a school fundraising event and never giving her what she purchased. The 13-year-old spent the cash on something else for himself. Charges were filed with Juvenile Probation Dept.

Harassment. Youngsville Police report Tiffany Lewis, 29, from Youngsville reported to police that Wayne Campbell of Warren has been harassing her via phone after she asked him to stop this past week. On Friday at approximately 7:30 p.m., police were called to E. Main St. for a confrontation between Wayne Campbell and Lewis. Campbell has been cited for harassment. A non-traffic citation was filed with Judge Lindemuth’s Office.
