Allegheny Outdoor Club Schedules Ride, Kayak Events On Sunday, July 20 the Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride the Elk County section of the Knox & Kane Rail Trail from the Forest County line to Route 66 south of Kane, a distance of 6 miles. This will be out and back on a packed limestone surface and hikers are welcome. Following the recent Community Blood Bank Donor Appreciation Day in Erie, the Community Blood Bank is hosting "Support Local" appreciation events throughout the region. Penn State Extension offers food safety manager certification courses in Warren County

Penn State Extension will offer the ServSafe Food Safety Manager course, which is aimed at restaurant and food service managers and others who need food safety certification. The course will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 24, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 31 at the Warren Forest Higher Education Council, 589 Hospital Drive, STE F., Warren, PA.
