State issues warning on measles case

The Pennsylvania Department of Health is alerting Pennsylvanians that an individual from another state who was contagious with measles visited multiple locations across the state, creating a potential for exposure to others. The individual, who has since left the Commonwealth, made stops in four Pennsylvania counties, including Adams, Clearfield, Lancaster, and York. State Police seek information on crash

An unknown vehicle traveling eastbound in the area of 439 Farnsworth Road in Mead township veered off the road while negotiating a left curve in the roadway and struck a telephone pole around 7 p.m. Aug. 15. The impact sheared the pole at its base. Evidence at the scene consisted of tire marks and striations along with the property damage. Verizon had been notified of the damage to their property.
