Evening of jazz planned tonight in city

Twig & Vine wine bar will be open today for a special one night only musical event. Musical jazz stylings of drummer Graham Kondak, keyboardist Parker Neal and special guest trumpeter Warrick Darling, all the way from Gilbert, Ariz., will be performing. Two-thirds of Tuesday night’s trio, Kondak and Neal are musicians in local group Echoes On Water, an energetic band with sets that include a variety of covers and original music and vocals. More band honors

The Eisenhower Knights Marching Band received first place in Group 2A at the Tournament of Bands competition hosted by Southern Tioga and Wellsboro bands on Saturday. The band is currently ranked fifth out of 35 bands in Group 2A competing across nine states.
