‘Cancer Whiteout’ set for tonight at Ike

A “Cancer Whiteout” wrestling match tonight will be an event that includes competition as well as an excellent cause. The Eisenhower High School wrestling Knights will host the Warren Dragons at 7 p.m. in the Ike gym for the “Cancer Whiteout” wrestling match. The match honors former coaches Joe Letko (Eisenhower) and Dean Johnson (Warren), both victims of cancer. Conservation District accepting scholarship applications

The Warren County Conservation District will be accepting Ralph G. Eckert, Warren County Council of Sportsmen’s Clubs and Heather Wilcox Scholarship applications until March 2 by 4 p.m. The Ralph G. Eckert Scholarship is awarded annually by the Warren County Conservation District to a deserving county student planning to continue her/his education in a conservation related field or service. Conservation District to hold art contest

The Warren County Conservation District is holding its art contest with entries accepted through March 13. The theme is “Soil. Where It All Begins.” The district is accepting artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade through 4 p.m. March 13.
