Recital to be held Saturday

James Pearson, cellist, and Joan Eighmey, pianist, will present a recital Saturday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at Holy Redeemer Church in Warren. The public is invited. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted. Music by Fauré, J.S. Bach, Martinů and Trimble will be performed. Both Pearson and Eighmey are natives of Warren County.

Allegheny Outdoor Club

to Hike, Bike Sunday

On Sunday, Oct. 26, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike or bike the Kinzua Valley Trail located in Westline, Pa. The hike will be 4-5 miles on level ground. Those who choose to bike can ride the entire length of the trail (14 miles). Those attending should meet at Musante Street at 1:30 p.m. or at the trailhead in Westline at 2 p.m.. St. John’s to host trunk-or-treat Oct. 31

A trunk or treat will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 Pleasant Drive, Warren, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. The event is held inside rain or shine.

Book signing to benefit Sugar Grove

Fire Department is today

SUGAR GROVE – There will be a book-signing event for Volume V of Sugar Grove Profiles at the Sugar Grove Fire Hall from 7 to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 24. Sugar Grove Profiles are a series of interviews with personalities about their lives in Sugar Grove. All profits will go to the Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
