First Church of God of Warren will host a chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. Meals can be eaten at the church or taken home. The church is located at 1111 Madison Ave., Warren.

host revival services

Warren First Church of God will be hosting revival services starting Sunday, Sept. 14, during the church’s 10:45 a.m. service. There will be evening services starting at 6:30 p.m.. Depot. 14 through Sept. 17. The Rev. Bruce Wilson will be preaching Sunday, Sept. 14. The Rev. J Maier will be preaching Monday, Sept. 6. The Rev. Branden Root will be preaching Tuesday, Sept. 16. The Rev. Jake Babinsack will be preaching Wednesday, Sept. 17.

American Legion to host barbecue today

Warren American Legion Post 135, 412 Pennsylvania Ave. West, will host a Patriot’s Day chicken barbecue from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. or until meals are gone. Tickets are $15 and meals include a half-chicken, macaroni salad, pit beans and a roll. The meal is being made by Scooter’s 5119 BBQ.

Outdoor Club to ride in Stockton, N.Y.

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will host a bike ride Sunday, Sept. 14, in Stockton, N.Y. Those attending should meet at the Kabob Wildlife Management Area, 4047 Waterman Road, Stockton, N.Y., at 2 p.m.. The ride will be about 15 miles round trip on back roads. Bev Creed is the leader of the activity.

Bridge league announces winners

Tuesday at the Woman’s Club, Adele Crossett came in first and Marge Neel was second. Connie Michell and Donna Holding were first and second on Thursday at the Woman’s Club.
