The Elk Township Historical Society will host a travel program, “Grand Canyon Adventures” on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. at the former Scandia School. Local National Park enthusiasts Ron and Sharon Jonson will share their adventures of backpacking into the depths of Grand Canyon twice. Everyone is welcome. The event is free.
