Lorena Surdecan

Lorena Surducan will visit Pleasant Community Church on Sept. 12, to speak about Operation Christmas Child. A meal will be provided starting at 5:30 p.m. with Surducan speaking after the meal. Surducan grew up in communist Romania, where economic conditions were stark. One Christmas Eve, she attended a church service where afterward she received a gift-filled Operation Christmas Child shoebox with a doll inside, just like the doll she’d always wanted. Today, Surducan travels and speaks for Operation Christmas Child about packing shoebox gifts for other boys and girls around the world.
