The community is coming together to support Sarah Chamberlain and her family with a spaghetti benefit dinner at Hessel Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 19, from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out.

The dinner will be drive-through, pick-up only, with meals being served from the bottom of the church driveway.

Sarah Chamberlain, a 40-year-old stay-at-home mom of four, was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer on April 1, 2024. She has completed chemotherapy and is now undergoing ongoing immunotherapy treatments every three weeks. Sarah has been blessed to avoid surgery so far and is praying that it will continue.

Despite the medical challenges, Sarah and her family – husband Josh and children Joshua (13), Daniel (11), Hope (10), and Abel (7) – remain strong and positive. However, the burden of medical bills and frequent trips to Cleveland for treatment has placed a significant financial strain on the family.

“We have been so blessed with help from family, friends, and our church family, but the bills keep adding up,” Chamberlain said. “Through all this, the entire family is remaining #SarahSTRONG.”

The benefit is open to all, with meals provided by donation, and all proceeds will go directly to the Chamberlain family to help with their ongoing expenses. For those unable to attend but wishing to donate, contributions can be sent to: 166 Hessel Valley Road, P.O. Box 43, Chandlers Valley, PA 16312

Please make checks payable to HVLC and write “Sarah” in the memo line.

Starting at $3.50/week.
