Best-selling author to speak on Sunday, June 29

Dr. Everett Piper

National best-selling author Dr. Everett Piper will be at Kiantone Congregational Church at 646 Kiantone Road on Sunday, June 29 at 11 a.m. delivering a sermon entitled “Truth and Love in a Culture of Pride.”

In the evening, he will be at Koinonia Fellowship at 1427 Peck Settlement Road, Jamestown at 6: 30 p.m. for a patriotic-styled service addressing the subject “Should Christians Engage the Culture Politically?”

Piper served as President of Oklahoma Wesleyan University for 17 years. He’s a contributing columnist for the Washington Times with his commentaries on religion, education and leadership appearing coast to coast in national and local media outlets.

He’s been a guest on FOX News Special Report, the Glenn Beck Show, the Tucker Carlson Show, and the Rubin Report in addition to other national shows.

His book, “Not a Daycare: The Devastating Consequences of Abandoning Truth” was cited by NBC News as one of the top ten news stories of 2015. He received the prestigious Jeane Kirkpatrick Award for Academic Freedom in 2016.
