Library to host Backyard

Birds & Bird Feeding presentation

The Warren Public Library will host Backyard Birds & Bird Feeding from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 29, in the Slater Room. Registration is required. There will be a one-hour presentation by Katie Finch, an Audubon Community Nature Center nature educator, on common backyard birds and what kind of seeds and feeders they prefer. This will then be followed by bird-related crafts to complete and take home. Adults and teens are welcome.

Church to host singer

Dan Schall Sunday

CHANDLERS VALLEY – Chandlers Valley United Methodist Church on Jackson Run in Chandlers Valley is hosting gospel singer Dan Schall at 6 p.m. Sunday. The public is invited to attend. The church will also host a spaghetti dinner, for a donation, starting at 5 p.m.

Warren Class of 1957 to meet today

The Warren High School Class of 1957 will meet at the Eagles Club at noon today for their monthly meeting.

Outdoor club to host weekend events

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will host a 5-mile hike Saturday at the Cornplanter State Forest near Tionesta and Neiltown. Those attending should meet at 10 a.m.; the GPS address is 4562 State Route 4001, Pleasantville, PA 16341. The leader is Charlene James. On Sunday the group will ride bikes at Allegheny State Park, meeting at 2 p.m. at the parking lot before entering the park at the Redhouse entrance. Pat Spicer will be the leader.
