to host breakfast Saturday

SUGAR GROVE – The Eisenhower High School Class of 1973 will be having a breakfast at The Bucket Cafe in Sugar Grove at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Spouses, family and friends are welcome to attend.

County Democrats

to hold fundraiser April 26

The Warren County Democrats will host a soup and salad fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Pleasant Township Fire Department social hall, 40 Fuller Ave., Warren. The theme, “Serving Democracy – One Bowl At A Time” focuses on the importance of serving through civic engagement. Tickets are $20 for adults and free for those 16 and under. Reservations must be made by April 21 and can be made online at warrendems.org or going to secure ActBlue at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/warrendems2025springevent. Reservations can also be made by writing a check to Warren County Democratic Committee and sending it to Warren County Dems, PO Box 862, Warren PA 16365. On the check memo line, write “2025 spring luncheon” and include a phone number and email. There will also be the opportunity to pay at the door.

The Warren Area High School Class of 1962 Christmas luncheon will be Friday, April 25, at noon at the Conewango Club in Warren.

Monday evening at the YMCA, Diane Callahan and Dave Benedict placed first with a tie for second between Jill Dart/Marge Polito and Shelley Dahlie/Pat Fincher. At the Allegheny Community Center on Tuesday, Bill Massa came in first and Adele Crossett was second. Karen Conarro and Alice Kellogg were first and second on Thursday at the Woman’s Club.

Caregivers Support

Group to meet April 21

The Caregivers Support Group-Warren will meet on Monday at noon at Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Pennsylvania Ave. E., Warren. Enter the building via the elevator entrance and proceed to the Wesley Parlor. If desired, bring a bag lunch and beverage. Information will be available on an upcoming evening presentation by the Greater PA Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Presentations as well as caregiver’s meetings are open to the public. Caregivers and those interested in learning about Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia-related disorders are welcome and encouraged to attend. Youngsville Fire Department

to host blood drive today

YOUNGSVILLE – The Youngsville Fire Department will host a Community Blood Bank blood drive from noon to 5 p.m. today. Donations are needed from all blood types, but especially O-negative, the universal donor type. CBB is asking all eligible individuals to consider donating to help meet the critical need. To donate, individuals must be at least 17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health. Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.fourhearts.org or by calling Edinger at 814-596-3395. Walk-ins are also welcome, but scheduling an appointment ensures a smoother process for donors. Blood donations take about 45 minutes.
