The Elks Club helped Chief Cornplanter Council BSA honor its 2022 Class of Eagle Scouts.

“The Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Warren Lodge #223 recently held their 70th annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner for the 2022 Class of Eagle Scouts from Chief Cornplanter Council, BSA,” according to Chief Cornplanter Council District Executive Jim Shaw. “The scouts and their families were treated to a wonderful chicken dinner.”

“The rank of Eagle Scout is attained by less than four percent of all youth who join the Boy Scouts of America,” Shaw said. “The Eagle Award is a symbol of leadership and persistence.”

“Congratulations to the following young men who climbed to the top of Scouting’s advancement ladder: Coleson Barber, Jason Bonavita, Colton Garris, Alex Hummel, Sawyer Lawson, Bryceton Maille, Caleb McMillen, Joseph Miller, Michael Moore, Braden O’Donnell, and Gabriel Wennberg,” Shaw said.

The Eagle Scouts were presented with a certificate from the Elks Club, and a commemorative Chief Cornplanter Eagle shoulder patch and challenge coin from the Chief Cornplanter Council for recognition of their achievements.
