Silver Central School defeated Sherman Central School, 52-34, in a recent Media One High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.

In another match, Falconer Central School topped Youngsville Area High School, 63-28.

Earning Player of the Match honors were Jake Millar of Silver Creek, Ryan Perry of Sherman, and Curtis Hannon and Declan LaForest of Falconer.

Silver Creek (1-1) was represented by Millar, Karissa Buchanan, Isabella Daniels, and Jacqui Flick.

Sherman lost its second match and was eliminated from the competition. Its team was made up of Perry, David Maleski, Taryn Palmatier, Sophie Lindsey, Olivia Maleski, KaMari Lilley, Memphis Kopta, and Nick Devine.

Hannon, LaForest, Isabella Anderson, Josh Erickson, Zach Kianos, Madelyn Conner, JC Hannon, Wyatt Bell, Cyrus Jones, Hunter Braley, Ashley Smith, and Lydia Potter competed for Falconer (1-1).

Youngsville was eliminated with its second loss. Its team members were Christopher Edwards, Tristan Coccaro, Asher Button, Fawne Hackman, and Konnor Eck.
