Lottsville Heritage Day set for Sept. 17
Horse-drawn wagon rides, the Warren County Fair Queen, the annual auction, bounce houses, and more will be featured at the 16th annual Lottsville Heritage Day celebrating Lottsville’s 207th year.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Freehold Township grounds.
The day’s festivities will kick off with the dedication of the new Freehold Township Archive Room at the township building. Billy Nichols will share Lottsville stories he heard from his grandmother, who was born there.
Wagon rides will be at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.
Opening ceremonies will be held at noon, with 2022 Fair Queen Cassie Dalrymple, a Lottsville native, introduced and singing the National Anthem. Lottsville is now the home of two consecutive Fair Queens.
Chicken barbecue is available for $12, and other food will be available, starting at noon.
The annual auction starts at 1 p.m. and includes crafts, baked goods, gift cards and certificates including tickets to the National Comedy Center and the Lucy and Desi Museum.
Throughout the event, a 22-by-28-foot bounce house with slide will be available for kids, vendors will be on the grounds, Amish donuts and baked goods will be on sale, and antique tractors will be on display.
