Wreaths to be placed on graves
The goal of Wreaths Across America is to remember, honor, and teach.
On Saturday, Dec. 18, Sugar Grove AMVETS Post No. 50 and American Legion Post No. 758, with the help of Civil Air Patrol Squadron 505, will lead an effort to place wreaths on the graves of 181 veterans in three cemeteries in the northern tier of Warren County.
Those who would like to participate in remembering and honoring veterans are encouraged to attend a brief ceremony at 11 a.m. in Sugar Grove Town Park. From there, groups will go to Wesleyan Cemetery, Lottsville Cemetery, and, for the first time, Turnpike Cemetery.
Youth are encouraged to participate.
