Audubon Nature Photography Club to meet Thursday

This photograph of a barn in winter was taken by Audubon Nature Photography Club member Don Armstrong. Foreground Snow is one of the themes of the members slideshow when the club meets next Thursday.

The Audubon Nature Photography Club’s next meeting is Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in Audubon Community Nature Center’s multipurpose room.

Visitors are welcome.

The subjects for the members slideshow for December are up to three per person for Foreground Snow, Icicles/Frost, and Story, and one per person for Help. To be included, photo submissions must be emailed to JASPhotoClub@gmail.com by Tuesday.

Handouts will list the monthly themes for 2022 that were determined at a brainstorming session. An on-going list of presentations by members for the upcoming year will feature photo journeys and hands-on demonstrations of photography techniques. A handout of Audubon’s December events schedule will inform participants of photo-taking opportunities.

The Falconer Public Library will host an exhibit of members’ photos during the month of February 2022. Exhibition hours and reception for photographers will be announced at a later time.

This meeting will feature the annual Christmas party, with a members-only wrapped, framed photo exchange. Meetings will be by zoom in January and February 2022.

Face coverings are required. To review Audubon’s most up-to-date COVID-19 requirements, which include information on face coverings and gathering limitations, visit AudubonCNC.org and read the COVID-19 Notice at the top of the page.
