A five-week session of Pickleball 101 was held at the Warren YMCA this summer. The group had 37 brand new players attend and stay for all five weeks, ending out the session with a 17 member “Meet and Greet” round robin tournament to bring all three groups of classes together for some fun play. Bragging rights going out to Jon Marti and Darielle Hoden as the champions and Dawn Pavlock and Barb Zawacki as runners up. A special thank was given to the Warren YMCA for allowing the group to host the event and be a huge part of developing a pickleball program for the Warren community.
