LOOKING FOR KNITTERS, CROCHETERS
The Allegheny Community Center has received many gifts of yarn.
Last year the center gave away many handmade items created by senior citizens to local organizations that were very appreciative of the donation, time and effort. Those interested in knitting and crocheting items from some of the donated yarn can come in and pick out some yarn, work on it at the center or take it home.
Community center officials will make sure donations are received by the recipient organization. For more information, call the Allegheny Community Center at 814-723-4180.
